UROLOGY/HEALTH SERVICES

Our research efforts focus on kidney stone disease and surgical procedures and instrumentation that involve treatment of urologic disease through minimally invasive procedures (endoscopes etc.). We are systematically evaluating the impact of technology on the success of these procedures and the impact of devices on patient morbidity following the procedures. Lastly, we are attempting to identify quantitative measures of injury and repair associated with stone formation and treatment.
