Harris, Irene, Ph.D.

Irene Harris is presently researching the relationship between religious/spiritual functioning and management of psychological trauma. The goal of this research program is to provide a basis for empirically informed chaplaincy and pastoral care practices. Her other interests are in oppressed groups, for example, people with disabilities and people who are gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered.
