POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS SYNDROME (STSD)

Dr. Dieperink is investigating variations in clinical care for veterans with PTSD across medical center sites. At this point, there is little consensus on the best practices in caring for veterans with PTSD. Eventually we hope to investigate differential clinical outcomes based on clinical practice in order to further refine the important ingredients in caring for patients with PTSD. Dr. Dieperink continues to be interested in risk and resilience factors in the development of PTSD and has looked at attachment style as one such factor. We are now planning on looking at factors that may influence individual clinical outcomes in veterans with PTSD.
